Fun Things to Do At Chuck E Cheese
Chuck E. Cheese is a Fun Place for the Whole Family!
I love taking the kids to Chuck E. Cheese. Admittedly, we don't go very often but we do go every year on my twin's birthday. In 2012, there was a big snowstorm so we had to go earlier in the day. We were the only ones there and we had the best time ever! There were no lines on any of the games and the customer service was superb! The food was super and everyone had a great time.
I try to avoid going on the busy nights because it can get pretty crazy there! But no matter what day or time it is, it's a fun place to take the whole family to!
Birthday Parties!!
Do you like having parties at Chuck E. Cheese's?
The Food Is Awesome!
When I was a kid, Chuck E's wasn't exactly known for their food. It was pretty much cardboard pizza and sodas. Today, the pizza is really good. It has a nice crust and enough toppings. There's a full salad bar which a lot of the adults in our group choose for dinner. There's tons of appetizers to pick from and for dessert there's wonderful dessert sticks that you can get with apple or cherry.
Also, if you're having a birthday party there, they have some really cute cakes that you can get right there and they are very inexpensive! They even have two different ones to choose from. It's very convenient!
This is some good looking food!

The Arcade Games are the Best!
So many games to choose from and they are all only 1 token!!! I've been to many arcades all over the place and all of them take more than one token to play most games but not at Chuck E.'s! One token for every game! The games are all the newest and they're always clean. It's a great place if you love playing arcade games!
They're all so bright and inviting!

People love the look, feel, and smell of them. They're so much more fun than carrying around a card.
On our last visit, we found one from 1987!
Ride the Horse!
This arcade horse moves while you watch the screen and pretend like you are racing and jumping. There's buttons to push that make it do different things. It's pretty big too so it really feels like a real horse. The kids love it!
It's All About the Tickets!!!
TICKETS!!!
Tickets!! Tickets!! Tickets!! You need tickets to get PRIZES!!! Every kid loves PRIZES!
Most of the arcade games at Chuck E's gives you tickets depending on well you do. We didn't realize this the first few years we were going but you don't have to spend your tickets on the day you get them. You can keep them and save them for a future visit. They have great prizes so if you save them up, you can get really nice things, not just junk like at other places. The T-Shirts are always adorable. The stuffed animals are adorable. Everything else is awesome too.
Chuck E Cheese Games to Play At Home
If you can't get enough of Chuck E. Cheese, maybe you need a game that you can play at home! They make the games for the Wii and other game systems. I haven't tried them but they sound like fun. Maybe if I get a chance to pick one up, I'll let you know with a review!
Security
Kid Security
At Chuck E.'s, everyone in your group is stamped with a number when they come in. All of the numbers are checked as you leave and no child can leave with an adult that doesn't have a matching number. I love it. Thanks Chuck E. for doing that to help keep our kids safe!
The Best Family Fun? What do you think?
I hope I've convinced you that Chuck E.'s is a great place for birthday parties! I love going there! My best words of advice are to go during slow times, like quiet weeknights.
If you've been there, do you have any other advice for families going there for the first time? Do you think it's a great place too? Do you like to play the video games? Please share your thoughts!
