I Love Mint Chocolate Chip

Smooth and creamy mint with rich chocolate chips - the perfect combination!

My love for mint runs deep. It all started many years ago when I was a small child and my mom bought me an Avon Mint Ice Cream cone lip gloss. I would put the mint lip gloss on my lips and then lick it off. It was so minty and smooth and the smell was unforgettable. It was wonderful and ever since then, mint chocolate chip ice cream has been my very favorite.

I was on a search for gluten free foods that I could enjoy. As I was walking down the freezer aisle of my grocery store, I saw a strategically placed "Gluten Free" tag by Talenti Gelato.

Since mint chocolate chip is my favorite, I decided to give the Mediterranean Mint a try first. It was the best mint that I've had in a very long time. Perfectly smooth with just the right amount and strength of chocolate. Delicious!

Oscar's Frozen Custard is my favorite frozen custard place. Their mint chocolate chip is extra smooth and minty. It's a beautiful green with thick chocolate chips. It's hand pack, old fashioned goodness.

The thing that I love most about Breyers Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream is that it's white. The first time I had it, I was so confused! Mint is always green, didn't they know? Did they forget to add the dye? But I soon realized that you don't need all those green dyes to make a great mint ice cream! It's loaded with chunks of semi-sweet chocolate for a nice sharp taste. Yummy!

I love ice cream. I could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My taste buds enjoy every single bite of it. I don't have my own ice cream maker - YET - but I plan to save up for one. This Cuisinart ICE-100 Compressor has gotten good reviews so far. I like that it makes ice cream and gelato. Surely for the price that this one is, I'll recoup the money quickly since I won't be paying $5.00 a pint anymore!

If you prefer making your own, you can find many different flavors to choose from! The best thing about making your own is that you can make it with fresh milk or cream and it will be so delicious and fresh tasting!

Ice cream sandwiches only come in a few flavors besides vanilla. Mint chocolate chip is one of them! They have a good balance of mint and chocolate. I like to leave them sit a few minutes before I eat them. The ice cream softens up a little and then I lick it all the way around the edge.

The sight of this lip gloss brings back those memories of that wonderful mint Avon lip gloss I had as a child. I remember it tasting as good as it smelled. It was delicious!

Even Klondike Bars come in my favorite flavor! They come in many different flavors but of course the mint ones are my favorite.

When I see the color mint, I can't help but think about mint ice cream. It makes me want to envelope myself in the smooth coolness. Mint is a great color for decorating. You can find paint, bedroom sets, bathroom sets, and even kitchen sets all in minty green.
