I Love Orange Leaf

Our city recently got a new addition... an Orange Leaf. It was there for months but I didn't know what it was so I didn't stop in. Then one day, someone at work was talking about it. It turns out they sell frozen yogurt.

It's not just any frozen yogurt. They have 60 different flavors, not all at the store at the same time, and tons and tons of toppings. Fruit toppings, nuts, candy bars, gummy things, brownie bits and then all of the hot fudge and caramel sauces that you could possibly want.

My favorite combination is Peanut Butter and Brownie Batter frozen yogurt mixed together and then topped with brownie bits, peanut butter sauce, and caramel. It's so good!!

They have 2 different size bowls. One is a reasonable size that fits in your hands really nice. Then they have the giant bowls. We've never used the bigger bowls because the smaller ones are big enough for us. They are a good serving size. If you're really hungry though or looking for a really big treat or maybe a dish to share, the big one will be just right for you!

Fruit lovers will have a blast here! You can pick your favorite flavor of frozen yogurt and then add the toppings. You can even make a banana split if that's your favorite. There's blueberries, strawberries, kiwis, pineapple and cherries for the top. I'm sure that I'm missing a few so you'll have to stop in and pick out your own favorites.

Having ice cream dishes that look like ice cream is more fun! These dishes have matching spoons. They would make a really fun birthday gift for someone.

It's much more fun eating ice cream and frozen yogurt in these cute dishes! The kids will love them!! If you're planning on having a birthday party that features ice cream sundaes, these would make a great little gift for the kids to take home instead of a goodie bag. They come in great colors so the kids can pick out their own.

There's a few rows of nuts and chocolates. The chocolates are more like candy bars all crushed up and you will mostly find one of your favorites here. Your favorite nut is probably in the line up too. There's cashews, pecans, peanut butter cups, and Heath bar bits to name a few of them. Sometimes I try to make something that's like a Turtle Sundae. I add the pecans, hot fudge, and caramel to the frozen yogurt. It's delicious!

Along with chocolate, you can also have gummies. They have lots of different kinds of gummies. Gummy worms, gummy bears, gummy frogs, gummy rings and more! The kids absolutely love adding these to their sundaes but be careful, they are a little bit heavy and you are paying by weight! I have a feeling that the gummies are where they make the most money.

Instead of going anywhere for frozen yogurt, you can buy a maker to make your own at home. You can use all fresh, natural ingredients and then you'll know what you're getting. Let the kids help and you'll have a fun family activity.

The first time I went there, I was really worried about how much it was going to cost but it wasn't too bad. It wasn't much more than a sundae I would buy anywhere else. The price right now is $0.45 per ounce of frozen yogurt and toppings combined. It seems like I usually spend around $3 - $5 each. The place where I buy my favorite turtle sundae costs $4.00 so the prices really are comparable if you ask me.

As I sit on a nice comfy couch, I look around and think about what a cute place that Orange Leaf is. I wonder who ever came up with this great idea. It's simple really, and oh so delicious! I think they did a great job and it's nice to have a chance to pick out your own favorites instead of having someone else choose it for you. I love those turtle sundaes but I know a lot of people who don't care for pecans. Here, you can make it without them.
