Everyone has to eat!
I would love to get kitchen gadgets because I love cooking. There's so many different and unique things being made all the time that there's always something new to try. I know that not everyone feels that way but almost everyone has to cook once in a while and it might as well be fun.

Bread Mixes
The wonderful smell of homemade bread cooking during the winter months warms you from the inside out! There's lots of brands and flavors to choose from.
My favorite way to make plain homemade bread is to put shredded cheese and onions on top. I add a few pats of butter and the loaf turns out delicious!
There's also a number of dips that go great with bread. One of my favorites is a cream cheese based dip with shredded cheese in it. Spinach dip is also a favorite of mine to dip bread into. It's made with sour cream and a spinach dip mix.
Taste of Homes Cookbooks
Unique Dips
Add a few unique dips and some crackers or pretzels. Most people will enjoy these and it will give you all something to munch on while you finish opening presents! There's also lots of really good things to dip in to the dips like potato chips, tortilla chips, wheat crackers, pretzels, and lots more!
Some dips you can get are:
- French Onion Dips
- Ranch Dips
- Guacamole Dips
Baking Supplies
Cookie cutters and frosting supplies would be great for the kids. They love decorating cookies with frosting, jimmies, sprinkles, pearls, and colored sugars. You could fill a good size basket up with all the choices or pick just a few!
Cookie Cutters
Nothing says Christmas more than spending time with your family making and decorating frosted Christmas cookies together. Don't forget to make sure that you have plenty of sprinkles and colored sugars on hand before you start!
Spice It Up!
Add some extra spices in to make it twice as nice! A gift box with 3 or more spices is lots of fun to receive but try to make sure it's something that you know the recipient likes. If you know they love Italian, then stick with that group of spices only.
Fun Kitchen Aprons
Kitchen Aprons can be fun and unique or traditional. As a gift, I would go for fun and unique! How does sugar 'n spice sound? Or Wonder Woman? I think that one is really different and the person who gets it will get a good laugh when they see it.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Olive Oil can be used for many different things. It's perfect for adding in the kitchen basket! The packaging is always kind of eloquent and looks expensive. It's a neat thing to find in a basket when you're looking through it.
A Healthy Oil
Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a healthy oil. It has Omega-3 fats in it and you can use it on lots of different foods. I like putting it on salad instead of using dressing. I use it to cook up eggs and have even used it when I'm baking. I love frying up zucchini is olive oil.
Measuring Cups
It's always nice to get new measuring cups. They are always coming out with new styles and designs and sometimes you lose a few out of your set and they just need to be replaced.
and Measuring Spoons
Just like measuring cups, it's nice to get new measuring spoons once in awhile. Sometimes they come out in different shapes and colors. I suggest finding ones that have the measurements etched into the spoon itself because it's hard to figure them out if they're print and it scratches off.
Cupcakes!!!
Cupcakes are all the rage right now. If you don't want to make a big basket of kitchen things, you could make it a cupcake basket! A cupcake pan, cake mix, frosting, decorative papers, sprinkles, and jimmies would make a fun gift.
Designer Cupcake Wrappers
If you go with the baking theme, you should definitely add some paper cupcake wrappers. If you buy a fun variety pack, they will add a lot of color to your baking basket. A cupcake theme would be so much fun!
Bamboo Spoons
The first time I bought bamboo spoons, I wasn't sure if I would like them or not. Turns out that they are some of my favorite kitchen utensils! They're so versatile and there's so much you can do with them. Stirring in a mixing bowl, sauteing on the stove and so much more.
Spatulas
My favorite kitchen gadget is a spatula! I have lots of them in my kitchen drawers because they are the one thing that I couldn't live without! I use them for all different food dishes.
Coffee Lovers Dream Basket
Coffee Lover Basket
This basket was made with the coffee lover in mind! Instead of kitchen supplies, coffee might be the way to go.
The coffee lover’s gift basket could include things like the Keurig 2.0 K350, a Keurig Carousel, a K-Carafe pack, ten k-cup boxes, five coffee travel mugs, a Starbucks mug, two $10 Starbucks gift cards, a coffee grinder, 2 large bags of coffee beans, four flavoring syrups, a box of Coffee-Mate cups, a refillable k-cup, chocolate cookies and cinnamon sticks.
This basket has everything and would be pretty expensive to put together but with this idea, you could make something a lot smaller and it could be a perfectly affordable gift.
